I would say you can eat there, but I would expect more for the prices, my opinion is average about the food. It is very pleasant that you can pay with all cards. Eating out once is enough.

Waiters ignore the guests. The crab soup is prepared with crabs past the expiry date and side dishes e.g. like fried potatoes almost cold. Prices are excessive.

Very tasty German cuisine (something for everyone), we enjoyed it very much. Nice, friendly and attentive service. The boss peeps in personally from the kitchen, great. Great price / performance ratio. We were very satisfied and will definitely be back, can only be recommended.

Finally a restaurant in Bensersiel where price and performance match and you don't feel ripped off as a holidaymaker. We had the schnitzel plate with a large fresh crispy schnitzel, fresh beans and fried potatoes. Very nice and friendly staff. The tomato and crab cream soup were also great. Table reserved in advance, nice phone call with the owner. Keep it up, Bensersiel and the vacationers need you!

Hotel restaurant. Very friendly and attentive service (in contrast to the snore at the front desk, who did not even greet). Special requests were fulfilled, food was reasonable and good middle-class. Only the fried potatoes were a little too much in the oil, but edible. Decent price / performance. Very quickly, the food came quickly.

Rustic cosiness, but not bleak. Hotel restaurant. The service was friendly, brisk and tried hard. The soups were generously proportioned, had to be seasoned a bit. The fish platter for 2 people was very clear, 3 quite small pieces of fish, but they were fried properly.

The fried potatoes are a bag product for the commercial kitchen - unfortunately not fried long enough so that the taste of the preservatives dominated everything. The fries were good. Fish and schnitzel were ok - the breading could have been more flavorful. The curry sauce was cold and the rice seemed to have been in the microwave - hot inside and cold outside. Very nice service. Dessert was delicious.

Great and cozy atmosphere, very nice and friendly service. The allergies of our son were taken into account without further notice, the cook was personally at our table and arranged everything with us. The next time we are in Bensersiel, there will definitely be delicious food here again.
